It has been so hard to post this past week, and I have attempted at least 6 times. My main distraction has been 3 tests this week. And so I thought I would post on a few online resources that have been a great help.
The first is found @ Anders.com, Lectures by Lars Brownworth on “12 Byzantine Rulers“. He does an excellent job covering much of the civil sphere in the early history from about 280’s to 1300’s. Lectures run between 15 to 30 minutes, and Mr. Brownworth is very succinct and keeps your interest. If you got a few minutes each day, you can get through these lecture in 3weeks without breaking much of a sweat.
The second is found @ Covenant Seminary’s exceptional resource of college lectures, “Covenant Worldwide“. Any of these lecture contain a wealth of information… and folks, the best part about it is that it’s FREE! Dr. David Calhoun’s “Ancient & Medieval Church History” series is extremely helpful
A third resource has to do with Maps actually. Check out Howard Wiseman’s “18 Centuries of the Roman Empire“.
Well these will leave you with hours of educational recreation, but if this is not enough, you could always wiki “Byzantine Empire“.
